RBSS Power Cube heading to Nangeenan

By May 29, 2020 June 4th, 2020 Nangeenan, News, Off-grid, Power Cube

260km dead east of Perth on the Great Eastern Hwy, in the heart of the Western Australian Wheat Belt is Nangeenan.

Nangeenan is home to Aaron and Jade, who purchased their new home 2 years ago only to be told they will need to spend $200k to have power bought to the front of the rural farm property – and then pay for the privilege of using that power.

When the couple approached RBSS they were running their home and property using a 5kVA diesel generator. So we thought this was the perfect opportunity and location for one of our RBSS Power Cubes.

The fully transportable, 8ft RBSS Power Cube comes with 2 x 10kWh Redflow ZBM2 batteries and 10kVa Victron Quattro Inverter/Chargers and when delivered to site will harvest energy from a 9kW ground mount solar array.

We are so pleased to be able to help Aaron and Jade in getting 24/7 clean power to their home quickly and affordably. And yes, they will have their investment paid back within 10 years at current power prices.

We will be heading up to Nangeenan in the coming weeks – so check back for updates and a first look at the RBSS Power Cube.
